my humble opinion it that an ads has to be pointed in the right contest
so if i have a category about photo i could make ads for photo
if i have a category about a game i could make banner for gamers

this is an easy edit of your script that i have arleady done ( i hope this don't fight against the copyright )
and i thing this could be usefull for all

if you want a suggerstion.. ;)

Nice idea, it won't be added to Beta 7, but I'll see about adding it to Beta 8.
