new forum file upload

why when i have my ftp dir set up correct and everything works, when someone creates a new forum a new folder is created in the next folder up from where the main files are, the script files are in /phpBB/ so i would expect it to be made in the phpBB folder but it isnt it creates i in the next folder up

Your FTP Path is incorrect. What is it currently set to?

no even with it chaged it still makes the folders in the next folder up

ive also tried making a new folder called # in the phpBB folder and chnged the ftp path to that, but it still makes the forum folders and smilies, avatar folders in the folder above phpBB, whats up?

When you login to FTP, what folders and files do you see? Do you see the phpBB files or do you have to change to that directory? Try this path and see if it works... /phpBB/

when i login via ftp i see my personal root foler, i have to head to a phpBB folder from there, ive tried /phpBB/ already, but ill try it again just incase

when i use /phpBB/ no folder is created whatsoever, man this is messed up, the folder isnt created but the forum works fine, omg :) please help me

omg ive just figured it out, i set it to /phpBB/ the forum name folder is created in /phpBB/images/forumname also in the images folder is smilies avatars ect, YAY i just wasnt looking deep enough, thx for all the help anyway :D
