What other types of softwares or downloads are good to make banners, edit pictures and other things besides Adobe Photoshop?

there are lots, Just a few may be:

Macromedia Fireworks MX
Corel Draw/Photo paint 11
Paint Shop Pro, errrr, 7 i think is the newest!

and thats all i can think of off hand, but im not sure where you may be able to download them, you could try Kazaa but they wont be small.

IT IS SPYWARE and it will mess up your Winsock DNS settings!

If anyone has it please post because if you remove it in the wrong way you will not be able to connect to the internet anymore! :woot:

I have kazaa lite. And no probs uninstalling it at all. I run a sweep that checks for spyware etc so my puter is clean :D

There is macromedia freehand. and for gifs i use image ready from adobe. paint shop pro is quite close to photoshop in terms of features. i think paint shop is more user friendly but photoshop more refined.

This is not really a support question, so I shall move it into graphics :)

I'm convinced BonziBUDDY is spyware. :rolleyes:

Paint Shop Pro is good. £50 to buy I think. :)

Hi Ash. The list above is in no way a full list of spyware. It is only a list of the spyware included with the new.net spyware plugin. It was brought up only because someone mentioned getting Kazaa, which is a dangerous program to install.

I agree with you, PaintShop Pro 7.0 is an excellent value for the beginner :)

hmmm seem to have been here before.

We have advised not to use Kazaa but to Actually download KazaaLite. Kazaalite is totally spyware free, so you dont get those problems with any settings getting stuffed up at all

I use photoshop mainly, illustrator 3dsmax and plasma come in handy a lot.
Flash has it's uses and psp i use for pixel art :)

PSP i also use when i can't get on my bro's pc(mine needs binning)

hotbar is notorious for spyware as well.

now for the topic at hand.

I have MGI photosuite, paint shop pro, photoshop 7.0 with a xenofex, eyecandy plugin, macro media firewords, Xera 3D, 3D studio Max, bryce, paint (don't put down paint you can draw very extra ordinary things with it). sorry if I spelt them wrong, and that is all I can really think of right now.

BTW: Use KaZaA Lite.

Photoshop 7 is the best
then Paint :P
