CHmod (Merged)

Heya all!!

i downloaded your script.. however i think im missing some files... in my /upload folder i got the following files:
.HTACCES, handler.php new_forum.php and a folder called nbs

in the nbs folder i dont got any sub-folder called admin, or any other admin section, but a file named admin.php

well the installer tells me to CHmod the file, but i dont got the file.... can any1 help me?

Heya all!

well when i reach installation step 7. The installer tells me to chmod the following files to 644:/common.php /nbs/nbs_config.php /includes/page_tail.php /includes/page_header.php /admin/admin_board.php

but when i have done that, it stills tells me to CHmod :(

You have to download phpBB as well from their site, and upload it to the same place.

No. It is not outdated. The is_writable function just doesn't seem to be working on some hosts. If you chmodded them back you can just go to the next step by changing the step number in the url.

Well i skipped the instalation step 7.

And i logged in to my acp. However i tried to create a new forum, but all i got was a blan page.. any ideas?

Make sure your FTP settings are correct (including the path, as this is mostly always messed up)

i uploaded all files to forum.cyanid3.net and CHMOD'd the correct files and i know for a fact its been done right but on step 3 it says certain files havent been CHMOD'd when they have how can i correct this problem

Just skip to the next step then. For some reason it shows them as not being CHMOded, you can ignore it. Just change the step number in the URL.
