Hey everyone,
The long awaited version 1.0.0 of the Multi-Forums phpBB script has been released! Here are the major changes in this version:
MANY bug fixes.
AdminCP now loads faster
Moved AdminCP from one file (admin.php) to multiple files in a folder called admin
Captchas now have background images
Upgraded the smarty template engine to the latest version
The DIR constant in the config file is no longer required -- script now tries to detect your path automatically
Fixed CHMOD issues some of you hadPlease make sure to backup your database before upgrading, because there is a lot of changes! We are not responsible for any damage caused by this script. This includes loss of data!
This will be the final release of the script for phpBB 2. NBSdesignz Multi-Forums phpBB 2.0.0 for phpBB 3 is still being worked on.
Please see the readme file for instructions on installing or upgrading.
There is also now a wiki, which you can find here (http://www.nbsdesignz.com/forums/../wiki). It is not fully finished yet, so things may be missing...
Please let me know if you have any problems with this script.
Thanks,
Derek
